Windows 10をはじめとする下記マイクロソフト社製品のサポートは、2025年10月14日（米国時間）に終了します。
サポート終了後は、これらの製品に対するセキュリティ更新が提供されなくなります。そのため、脆弱性が修正されず、マルウェア感染等のリスクが高まります。
このため、対象製品を利用している学生のみなさんは、
２０２５年９月末までに、後継製品、または、代替製品への移行、新しい端末の購入をお願いします。
サポート終了製品を含む端末は、学内ネットワークに接続しないでください。

※端末の状況（スペック等）によってはアップグレードできない場合があります。
５）注意事項
・移行できない製品を利用せざるを得ない場合、2025年9月末以降は学内ネットワークから切断してください。また、当該端末から出し入れするデータは、必ずウィルスチェックを行ってから利用してください。
・製品のインストールはご自身でお願いいたします。インストール後の操作方法や不具合に関するサポートもできませんので、ご了承ください。

アップグレードに関する追加情報
・アップグレードには、「Windows 10 ver.2004以降」がインストールされている必要があります。「ver.2004」より以前のWindows 10を利用している場合、Windows Updateにて「ver.2004以降」へアップデートしてください。
・アップグレードの途中でトラブルが発生してWindowsが起動しなくなった場合などに、回復ドライブが必要になることがあります。またWindows 11へのアップグレード後10日以上経ってから、Windows 10に戻すときにも回復ドライブを使用します。アップグレードの前に、回復ドライブを作成しておくことをお勧めします。
・Windows 11へのアップグレード中、もしくはアップグレード後に、不具合が起きると、データが失われてしまうリスクがあります。各種データは、念のためバックアップをとっておくことをお勧めします。

Support for Microsoft products listed below, including Windows 10, will end on October 14, 2025 (U.S. time). After this date, no security updates will be provided, and these products may be easily infected by malware or face other security problems.
Because of this, students using these products should move to newer or different products, or buy a new device by the end of September 2025.
Do not connect any device with unsupported products to the university network after the support ends.

4. Upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11
If your device meets certain requirements, you may be able to upgrade to Windows 11 for free. Check the requirements and instructions here:

※ Some devices may not be able to upgrade due to their speficications.
5. Important Notes
✔ If you must keep using a product that cannot be upgraded, disconnect it from the university network after the end of September 2025. Also, scan all files transferred to or from the device for viruses before using them.
✔ You must install the software yourself. The university cannot help with installation or troubleshooting.

Additional Notes on Upgrading
✔ To upgrade to Windows 11, your device must have Windows 10 version 2004 or later. If you use an earlier version, update to version 2004 or later via Windows Update before upgrading.
✔ You may need a recovery drive (USB drive used to restore your computer) if something goes wrong during the upgrade. It is also required if you want to return to Windows 10 more than 10 days after upgrading to Windows 11. Create a recovery drive before upgrading.
✔ Problems during or after the upgrade may cause data loss. Back up all important data before upgrading.
